I think he really loved both but because he was with the other guy for so long he couldnt help but keep loving. He was his only lover before the doctor too. Also when dealing with abusive relationship the victim cant help but continue loving or holding on even when they know its wrong, its a lot harder to leave than ppl think so I thought it was very brave of him to leave~ Again he loved the doctor but the other guy was always in the back of his mind and even in his thoughts in his last words "After school lets go home together" I'm also sad about this though haha *cries*
