I didn't expect this to be this good, everything is now falling into place and Berry's on the way into checkmate. It so good how in the story, so many surrounding kingdoms and empires are involved and the constant maneuvering/manipulating of people behind the scenes were just *chef's kiss* ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
I'm not really feeling it at the start of the story and I can't count how many times I tried to reread this, thank goodness i continued it this time. It so fun seeing Mc and Ml looking and acting like villains (having tea party, drinking wine, dancing) while Berry is crumbling lol
I really appreciate Reynold and Dad, they took actions and apologized, both even cried to her. Derrick? lol yes, few gifts and affection won't cut it.
Why da eff is this ML not even changing facial expression, and yet, he's the frikking sweetest compared than those "suave" ML in other stories????
as in, yea he's not feeling proper emotions but he's really being attentive to MC, gawd???????
