I'm talking about his background, but obviously people have no memory of heonjae's childhood chapters + we had 0 chapters telling jingi's childhood but people just make up that jingi was abused while we have nothing that backs up that statement lol + jingi IS very much hurting his brother with the way is treating him + yes people are very much excusing jingi, just look at the topics and the stupidity of some comments of this very topic

In the latest chapter for the season finale, myeongil confronts him about the pictures he found in the letter which he mentioned there to be kids around myeongil's siblings age with the same dyed hair color.. surrounded by men. (was just given the desc but it was all alone horrifying to hear) Later on, jingi admitted to be one of the children so i hope this clears out.
However I'm not meant to justify him for the actions he did NOW because hes obv still very much a rapist and abusive but he never intends to harm his brother at any cost because he thinks they're in the same team. He very much cares about his brother he's just that much of an insecure asshole. Heonjae's childhood abuse is also valid in every way but his actions also played a big role in this hence why he got sentenced in the prison in the first place. Also he don't gaf about his brother, that man wants his older brother dead for "betraying" him because of myeongil
