I started reading w/o any expectations (didn't read the summary or whatever, just jumped into it cuz the cover looked pretty) but this was far better than I thought. I wonder if the translator had fun with this manga, the lines that 'motivated' the uke (and the seme in the past) were legit good lines rather than simple one/two words-- and the way they mulled over the aging life and happiness was.. is "beautiful" the right word? The way they conveyed it was beautiful. And mad props to the translator for bringing it to life in English Loved the banters too. Wholesome.
I need some recommendation that has the dynamic of strong-willed FL and a possessive ML like this manga. (And even if it's just strong-willed/rational-minded FL, it's fine. Yoshino has set my standards so high.)
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/koroshi_ai/ somewhat similar !! strong FL esp this manga is usually recommended for raise readers!!
I feel like the first volume was already great enough, so I was worried if a second volume would just make me feel "meh, can't compare to the good pacing of the first volume" but it was actually really really good? I shed tears for the proposal scene because of the way Hazuki asked for Shizuku's permission as well :(
Sure there are times I was absorbed and quiet for the plot development, but I lost count how many times I laughed out loud LOUD for this story. The rocket punch, the chair that launched the emperor, the first gender check, the time Rino gave the "it aint my fault that he fell in love with me" attitude speech, and now this mental breakdown. I've been ugly laughing so much i just CANT
