The previous scans group in charge suddenly announced they were contacted by the author/publisher to stop translating Kikonsha, so they stopped uploading in public and told readers to join their Discord server to read it there. Some people decided to pick up the manga and continue translating. When the group caught wind of this, they went into a rage and claimed the author would discontinue On & Off if this went on. The thing is, up until now, there have been ZERO official statements from the author/publisher about the issue, so people started doubting if what the scans group claimed before is actually just bullshit. It's fascinating to see so many people just listen to one source of information and believe it without even fact checking.
this story had in number more people translating it than i’ve seen people the past year
