Aster created a topic of PASSION

Finally caught up with the latest chapter yayy!! Ooh man, the way the author and artist handled Ilay is making me so giddy!! That madness-like contemplation in contrast to Taeui's quiet one? *CHEF'S KISS*

The frustration and confusion he felt towards the emotions so foreign to him were depicted so well it made me put my phone down for a moment to calm myself down. And despite all that, Ilay didn't refuse/reject/run away from those emotions, he instead accepted them as a part of him and never stopped trying to comprehend why he felt that way toward Taeui. They're polar opposites, but Taeui was the first person he wanted to understand. And I guess, whether he's aware of it or not, Ilay finally learned what empathy is. The author managed to show this process without making him seem out of character.

Their relationship is still dysfunctional, but it's kind of amusing to me how they are slowly working on proper communication even without the intention to improve the relationship. It just happened that way.

He's so ready to put his family behind and be together with shishikura
