the story is interesting but i wish it would have been done a lil different cause the story is confusing as hell...
so basically the kid and his housekeeper from ch 1 are the same ppl as the novelist and the salaryman that is acting like a caretaker to the novelist from ch 2 - just 10 years later.
i get it now but it was super confusing to read it in the back and forth order that the story presented it as. i wish they'd just make all the 10 years ago stuff happen in the first couple chapters and the ten years later stuff happen in the last couple chapters...
hard to believe these two are both adults... they feel like middle schoolers who just reached puberty and haven't mentally graduated from elementary school...
but they're super cute and fluffy so I'll forgive it! also i love the artstyle.
i didn't think we'd ever get a character that would make Usaida seem more normal but here we go?
the gods in this story are pretty weak if they get beat by some demons... it's kinda pathetic that they're gonna hafta be saved by the humans...
at this point they might as well start dishing out the star level ups to all the humans since they can't protect themselves from demons without the humans.
why do some of these chapters feel like they have some missing pages or something? it's kind of annoying...
i bet he's gonna lose that stamp card now that he's raised the "...and then I'll confess" flag...
he's just so freakin kyuuute!
with all the dark gloominess pervading this entire series (albeit with gorgeous art) this little mushroom's innocence and frankly purity is just so beautiful!
also he's so freakin adorable I just can't stand it!
i want him to find his little spore so badly! that's all he wants! i hope his little spore is okay...

for anyone else, like me, that can't read the raw untranslated screw up the non-official translations uploaded and doesn't wanna wait til the officials catch up here is a fully translated chapter 154:
https://mangakatana.com/manga/ill-be-the-matriarch-in-this-life.25771/c154
in a way the title and summary sound like a metaphor for prostitution... which i guess is kinda less weird than that ingredient tho...
the truth is stranger than fiction as they say...
