sorry bro but you don't get to say that cause you have a whole ass harem too...

How old are you? And did we read the same manga? Brother he can't literally let them go because of the rules of the world and because they are hormonal teenagers in the 'harem' ofc anyone outside of mcs pov would think of it as a 'harem' because that is the norm of their world. So him seeing the hero having actual adult women as his harem would make him say that.

Yeah you right, I shouldn't be in the defensive of this because it's actually dumb to talk to you so yeah thanks for making me understand that fighting you is so stupid that I forgot about it thanks a lot hope you do this again so that I can realize that it's you that I'm fighting and not an intellectual

so the story's pretty good, emotional -
but am I the only one kinda disappointed there isn't more scifi fantasy stuff?
i don't dislike the story, it is pretty good - but i just really wanted more scifi fantasy stuff. it just feels like a romantic drama that doesn't even need the whole MC went to the future and saved the world from an apocalypse.
what's the point of even having that part of the plot? this could have just been a story about a dude with a dysfunctional family who dealt with some kind of trauma or abuse or something that made him want to die and this story could still keep all the same stuff we've been seeing.
the story is fine as far as the drama and feels go but i wish they'd bring in more scifi fantasy elements to make it more cohesive with the whole MC went to the future and saved the world from an apocalypse part.
at the end it says this was the 2nd escape case but they never mentioned a first - only that he COULD POSSIBLY escape. i wonder if that means there was another subject before him that escaped?
or i could be reading into it too much, but that would be interesting since he could have an ally out there somewhere?
