Ya! There is a web novel that this is based off of. I recommend checking it out if you wanna see some of the more content you miss in the webcomic. Though I will say seeing the art for this really just puts things in perspective.
I love how the creepy vibes start to settle in at the end. Gosh if it keeps up with the pace then I hope our mc is a bit more manipulative and messed up than he appears.
