No, it's not that miyuki choose furuya. didn't miyuki said that 'now there would be recruiters coming for sawamura too' which mean he is thinking that sawamura can AND have it in him to go for pros too. I think it's just a bad timing when sawamura overheard their conversation,and miyuki also said that he himself avoid speaking bout it cuz of his position. But im sad too for our baby( ･﹏･) now he's gonna overthinking bout it,and i hope okumura can help him somehow.... ╥﹏╥

i also think its just a plot element to get sawamura think beyond being the ace of seido (although he still needs to prove that he is the true ace coz... cmon, seido cant even tell him genuinely that he did great as if they're waiting for furuya to get the ace number back) i just hope that convo wont fuck up his game in the finals

Eijun is indeed the true ace, but since he just recently got the ace number and didn't do well in his first game as the ace, some members still is unsure of him but just like Zono said, they just have to score lots so Eijun can relax a bit more. He proved his worth as the true ace during his performance against Sankou.

Ugh.. please don't say that! It breaks my heart that Miyuki favor Furuya more for a pitcher rather than our Ace Eijun. I don't want Eijun to be hurt because of this. Please don't be a reason to fucked the finals.

I think not now. Maybe after the game with narumiya or maybe not. I'm also disappointed but we all know furuya is different. We need to be patient because i know our ace will shine more in koshien.

From the very first time that i watched DNA, i really got mad because sawamura was the mc but the spotlight was always on furuya. That's why i was so happy after watching act 2 and then i started reading the manga. I'm so proud of my baby eijun. Oh, i mean i think we all are. Because we saw him not just once but many times overcoming his yips. So, all i'm asking for the author is not to take that spotlight from him.

Everyone likes the second season and act 2 more 'cause the 1st one Sawamura was more like a comic relief and tbh i didn't like it TwT but i'm proud that his team started to aknowledge him.. it was only chris senpai but then everyone started to rely on him more
and also okumura the 2cd chris senpai for me

It's not actually furuya but miyuki. I think he's the one who asked first. But it just feels like the author won't really forget about his furuya. Lol

Me too, I felt really disappointed with chapter 253 and 254, like Sensei didn't let Eijun have his well deserved attention after pitching the whole 9 innings and winning against a powerhouse. It swiftly moves on to the other characters, which frustrates me. I barely see him on the latest two chapters, damn.

Yes. That's the feeling i'm having. If it's furuya, all the praises will be there in one chapter. Lol

This is totally only my opinion, hope I won't make anyone mad:

Sawamura didn't get an interview, so does Amahisa, although he is a great pitcher himself. Maybe standing on Koushien stadium really differ how each pitcher was treated, which is why sankou batter wanted to go to koushien, so the world can get to know amahisa.

Even after lost to sankou before, furuya still gets an interview. that's just how much Koushien worth.

Nah. We're not talking about the interview. I already said that maybe he won't get interview even after defeating narumiya's team. We all know maybe it will happen in koshien. We're talking about how dry the praises they are giving sawamura.


A little spoiler, in the next chapter miyuki will ask furuya about being a pro or whatsoever. Like, why ask that when he didn't even pitch. Other people we're saying he should've asked sawamura since he showed such amazing pitching but he didn't. And the spoiler said sawamura was listening. (But i think miyuki didn't know he was there)

not only in DNA in every sport anime they have the big stadium where they can play vs others schools and they get famous and scouted for university (sorry about my english) also (even tho i hate furuya) i guess he was interviewed because of his powerful pitch so i believe if Eijun wins (ofc he will) the game vs Mei he'll get more attention like he's the dude who defeated the king

It's not just about the interview but some grand reactions/actions and words of praise from his team, coach and audience. I guess nobody seem to expect Seidou to win against Sankou even Seidou themselves. And perhaps they don't personally tell Eijun or some face to face appreciation is because he tends to get carried away by his emotions but he already proved to us that he could manage it just fine but yeah, or Sensei just instanty forgot about him lol

that's why i always say the only one who really aknowledge sawamura and believe in his potential is Chris senpai (and okumura he's always paying attention to Eijun) i like the rest of the team but i think they still don't fully believe in him (they're getting there) i guess they think if sawamura fails we still have furuya who'll carry the rest of the game
i wish that someday they give some attention and praise eijun the boy worked extreamly hard for that ace number TwT

Yes, same here. Let's wait for the next chapter if the coaches will praise him in their meeting. But maybe if not, i'm wishing if they beat inashiro the coaches will atleast praise him there. Also, let's see what will happen there because i'm sure furuya will pitch there. Let's also see if the reactions are more grand there.

I just finished reading it here. Just as i thought, furuya will pitch first. This is where i'm excited too. I want to see how will sawamura take the mound from furuya. But if furuya pitch perfectly here and pitch the whole game, it won't make sense why sawamura is the ace. So, i want to see what will the author give us to make us satisfied in the next game.
