*SPOILER*
Am I the only one that felt that from chapter 3 on was just depressing? I didn't see a happy ending, the seme and uke at the end didn't even know one another, they just got together because the other looked like someone they did love. Rue starts the whole "I love you" think on their very first meeting! You can't love someone that fast, you can just love what they look like, especially since Kuro's and Mashiro's personalities are completely different. And vice versa with Rui. They were just substitutes for the ones they used to love. That's it. That's all the end relationship was.
You don't see them grow together, you don't see them fall in love, and Rui kept calling the uke by the android's name. The ending never made up for the the sadness of the previous chapters because that "love" was completely hollow and based on trying to make each other fill a role left by someone they look like. You never see them loving each other for who they are. They try to hint at it at the end, but 1-2 pages does not make up for an entire volume of watching them fall in love with someone else. It just feels sad and empty.
I like happy endings, the world is messed up enough, I like my fiction to end on an upbeat note. I don't mind crying in a manga as long as it ends happily. This one did not. It left me feeling depressed and I regret reading it.
***SPOILERS****
Why would both the Uke and the Seme be A-Okay with that glasses guy who tried to straight up rape the uke and force the seme to bond with another omega? Then was an accomplice to the uke's terrible asshole of a brother/sister trying to get the uke gang-raped? I'm not sure what else to call deliberating inducing heat in an omega when he's surrounded by a room full of alphas. He/she knew what would happen.
Then neither of them even apologized, but suddenly they're both fine with him being at the wedding? Sure the seme made a comment (uke didn't) but it was super mild "Why are you here again?" one, not one with real anger and the uke acted like nothing happened. I'm sure there going for an everyone's happy ending. Which I don't like and don't want.
I don't want the rapists assholes (glasses guy and brother/sister) to get a happy ending. I want them to get a terrible ending and wind up with people they don't like. I know they won't, they won't even have to apologize and everyone will be happy.
Makes me like the manga way, way less.
*SPOILERS*
If the emperor really loved Yan's father, as he seemed to in the flashbacks and when he was hallucinating, why did he treat him like that? I mean, he went through a lot of effort to get him for his harem and he basically broke his mind with drugs, raped him to death and threw his body on the streets. Why would he do that to someone when 10 YEARS LATER (when he though Yan was his dad) he still cares enough about Yan's dad to be begging him not to leave him again, claiming to still love him, apologizing, and even offering him his other eye if he would stay?
I just don't understand him causally killing and throwing Yan's dad away into the streets like he did when, clearly, he still had very deep feelings for him. (Twisted and psychotic, but they were there)
Why don't they just try bsdm stuff? I mean I totally understand why Ryouji doesn't want to just punch him in the face and doesn't like him getting into fights, it's dangerous and can go too far. However they could try whipping, spanking, toys, ect......to satisfy Yuki but it wouldn't do (okay, shouldn't do) any real damage and wouldn't hurt his face. Then they could both be happy. :)
This manga is possibly the most adorable thing I've ever read. <3

Would couldn't love that cinnamon roll?
I mean Akari has always looked out and taken care of his twin brother/sister, and even in the first chapter (before he was chosen over him/her) Hikari was a total bitch/asshole with how s/he was acting towards Akari. Then s/he essentially tries to get him gang raped in the last chapter. Her/his own twin brother. That's some twisted behavior. I just don't get it and I hope s/he gets put in his/her place in the wedding next chapter.
I Akari ends up happy and Hikari ends up miserable.
I really have no idea what I just read. >.<
