I liked the ending because he really did get to live out his “normal couple” fantasy—the boss gave them the red carpet and everyone applauded them when they kissed...no judgement...that’s what warmed my heart when reading...even tho the main character thought it was impossible, he got what he wanted :,)
I read this 3 years ago as it came out, and I remember worrying that the mc would end up with hyunwoo. I remember really feeling happy and refreshed that he didn’t—people grow, change, and mature. The fact that the MC made the mature choice to move on has stuck with me for some reason, because you don’t see it often in romance genres in general. A good lesson
It’s so interesting how different the vibe of this one is compared to For Your Love...the artist and author really are going for something much darker and bleaker tonally
