I love this webtoon a lot story wise but I honestly miss the older art style...everyone’s shoulders are SO BROAD now

    Josugay April 22, 2021 3:32 pm

The old art style was better.

Ok this is just a theory but what if the white haired dude isn’t actually the killer god or whatever what if it’s the pharmacist? I feel like if it was executed properly that would be a really cool twist!

I’m not trying to be rude. I definitely appreciate your effort, uploader, but I recommend you leave it to someone who knows some Korean As someone who speaks another language there’s a LOT of stuff that machine translating or Google translating can’t do, and it shows.

Imma be real damn honest yall my patience is wearing THIN with this drama of seungHO not believing Nakyum it’s just getting dragged the fuck out and I want it to wrap up

I really enjoyed the last sex scene, if you could even call it that. It really showed the change of Ma-kun’s character and the importance of his relationships as he’s aged—before, with the other man, it was very fast-paced, all sex drugs and rock and roll with über-large stakes. But he didn’t really find enjoyment/fulfillment until Hitoshi, whose sort of mundane and regular lifestyle appealed to him. This is sort of how relationships evolve, I find—you usually end up happiest in romantic relationships with those who are a steady force who cares for you, versus an exciting, dramatic person who wants you for themself. If you notice, he never laughs with the other man at all, and he’s always laughing with Hitoshi. I find that this, and the evolution of less-than-vanilla sex, just really showcases this. Idk maybe I’m reading too much into it but it adds another layer of realism and strength to their relationship that wouldn’t have otherwise been there should the author have chosen to just go right into thr hyper-sexual wild stuff so often in this genre, because that isn’t the kind of relationship or life Ma-kun wants or has right now, symbolically speaking.

MISTER KIM IS LITERALLY THE FUCKING GOAT I KNOW HE GON COME IN CLUTCH FOR US!!! HE REALLY OUT HERE JUST BEING THE ONLY NICE AND WELL ADJUSTED CHARACTER IN THIS WHOLE DAMN STORY LIKE YEAH DILF DO YO THANG!!!

Spammy December 12, 2020 10:58 pm

Some of y’all here take this comic WAY to seriously. It’s a fantasy—obviously if Kimin was real this stuff would be creepy, but it’s a fantasy, like ALL romance stories. In romance stories sex always is amazing, the love interest is always devoted, and sometimes the stuff that’s creepy irl is portrayed as romantic, etc. Like in real life, what are the odds that you end up falling in love with the person you hate? Like next to none—but it happens all the time in fiction. Same with this type of stuff.
The things that happen are not meant to be taken literally. I’ve been reading BL for like 7+ years and some of y’all recently seem to want to take this as a literal representation of reality. Like sweetie. This is meant to titillate and entertain and show an idealized relationship where everything works out and stuff. Idk man some of y’all tire me. Let’s bring back an old internet proverb: If you don’t like, don’t read.

    whatever December 13, 2020 12:46 am

Before the reveal, I was invested in it like it was a psychological horror and now they just.... end up together? And they're in love????

    whatever December 13, 2020 12:48 am

Sorry about that, I didn't mean to reply to you.

It's okay if you can differentiate fiction from reality but some comments literally say stuff like I want a boyfriend like Kimin or I want a relationship like them... uhhh that doesn't sound like people who can separate fiction from reality to me

When people say that I think they mean “I want an idealized relationship like this one”, not necessarily “I want an actual stalker boyfriend”. I don’t think anyone wants that. Wanting a “relationship like theirs” generally means “I want one where someone desires me and pursues me and actively wants me”. Same reason that many people read like “assassin/mafia romance” stories. You don’t ACTUALLY want a mafia guy to come and you to get involved in a murder gang. Same with this. It’s a fantasy, and most people recognize that.

You are right but when it gets to the point where all the seme has to do is cry to get the uke to listen it crosses the line. The uke litterally ask him to listen to what he says and his feelings and yet still after the parent thing they litterally ignore it...it makes sense for people to think that something else might be going on and it's not just a happy cute shounen ai.

11?? Hahaha i just turned 14 but i started reading BL's this year lol

Spammy December 12, 2020 7:54 am

This is based off a novel! It was INCREDIBLY hard to find, as it is not translated, but the novel “Lie Cry Like” was apparently included in the BL novel serialization magazine 涙BL. If anyone knows where we can read the novel I’d be very happy—that’s all the info I’ve found so far :)

This is just a theory but judging by his physical responses to violent men and sexual situations (getting scared, throwing up) and how he reacted to the old bullies, our poor mc was probably sexually assaulted by them in high school... :(
