I wish people would stop taking the story seriously and just enjoy the art and the unnecessary drama and the ridiculous behaviour. I don't think the author is trying to write a real deep story, it's a silly comic with enough mistery to keep it interesting.
Of course if it's something that triggers you and you feel it wasn't properly warned, or just don't like it don't read it, but I don't believe it will change in the future. It all points to just being a stupidly dramatic ending and more porn.
