at first I like it as I watch some anime episodes for it but when I read the manga.. I get even more frustrated and confused like wtf.. everyone is a red flag here bro-
Long story short is that my friendships with anyone just doesn't stay as I want it to be. mostly it's just having different opinions and beliefs.. I know I can be the problem sometimes but why does it feel like everytime I try to be so open.. everyone is creating a distance out of me...? (not even my younger sister wants to rekindle our bond...)

I also found my closest friend at the age of 17-18 so i dont know how old you are but you will meet your people. I am pretty deranged and we do sometimes share different opinions but my friend still accept me nonetheless so do I. Maybe try to look for people with the same interests or hobbies as yours. And opinions and beliefs will always be different thats why its important to look for someone who respects yours vice versa.
I'm just 19 yrs old, still not that mature... anyways I'm glad you found someone to be friends with, I hope that lasts ^^
