Calm down bruh the story just began and now we’re in the present where she’s different. Each person reacts differently to situations. She wanted to be loved to the point she was willing to overlook what they did and kept giving them chances. That in itself makes her a strong character. Just bcuz a character doesn’t brutally murder their abusers doesn’t mean their weak. I’m sure now that she’s done with them, she’ll finally focus on herself. This is about her healing journey, give her time cuz it’s not easy.

Hey absolutely understand where you are coming from and you are absolutely correct in your views. My post was simply for venting at how frustrating it was for me to see someone constantly forgiving and forgetting all of the abuse from their abusers. I don't expected her to murder her family, I expect her to realize she is an amazing person and get those abusers out of her life. Speaking from my personal experience, it isn't strength to give chances to abusers, rather an inability to realize their horrible situation due to gaslighting or being unable or afraid to get out of it.

Heyy! No worries! Now that you’ve explained it better, I completely agree with you as well! There’s no way in hell I’m promoting giving chances to your abusers and yep that makes sense. She was very much manipulated and it took her a while to let go of them. I personally would’ve dropped their asses as soon as I even sense anything bad but the mc seems to be different in that regard so it’s understandable why you were frustrated. I do apologize if I came as offensive in any way. :)
