This passage will be long , hope you guys read it. In brief, I still support sungjoon by 2 reasons.
1, Sungjoon is paid for what he did.
I am really satisfied with all the character development which are established here. Sungjoon definitely is a moving trash can and nobody could deny it. He played with almost everyone here, from whom he loves to minha, the innocent girl. But in the end, he had to endure all the suffer from his relationship. He had to go out and got slapped by girls he doesnt like to clear the rumour for Naru, he even carried all the bad gossip in school, he had to see his crush hugged another girl, he forced himself to give up dating others, because he felt the sin he made. I think there is no painful consequence more than this that he deserves to recieve.
2, Naru and Somi relationship is not established by true love, but by their need.
Somi is a good girl and admit it. She is a warm hearted person and is good at understanding people. But then, she quite rushes to the relationship with Naru, and Naru seems to the one who need this relationship because all of his friends are in love. You can read in the story, Naru is totally passive toward his lovelife. He loves somi because she is a good person, but he will immediately think the otherwise when Somi stood him up. Moreover, remember Somi confessed to Naru partlt because she was advised by her friend to do it as soon as possible, when she really struggled by thinking should she do that. And the line of Sungjoon, he once said people can love by just 5 seconds, he did imply Nru and Somi relationship, which is established by Naru who loves because he needs it, and the one Somi who loves by naru cuteness and friendliness.
So these are two things I think they are reasonable for naru and sungjoon to become a couple. Actually do not blame sungjoon because this story is extremely realistic. What would you do when your crush goes to date other boy/girl, of course you want to prevent that kind of thing happens. Of course what Sungjoon did was unacceptable, but he did pay for it. He even carried all the bad rumours, when he was in first place a person who was famous. Nothing is worse than this, when your campus life is destroyed by the gossip.
I love the story, it’s written beautifully. I would have to deny the part where you think they should be together. Sungjoon, although looking out for Naru, is still a toxic person. He needs to fix himself before starting a relationship. Somi, GRADUALLY fell in love with Naru through world, communication, and understanding. It was never out of a necessity, they are genuinely in love. The reason why Naru thought he was stood up was his mental problems/trust issues and that he was previously stood up by another girl he trusted. it’s a also kinda psychotic how you think that going out of your way to prevent your crush is normal. I’m really concerned, I understand that you don’t want you crush to fall in love but using underhanded tactics and being plain manipulative isn’t okay. Don’t forget that Naru hasn’t shown any real interest in sungjoon. It’s really sad, but if he keeps that unrequited love I think the story would be even more realistic.

Preach!! Exactly my thoughts. This manhwa is actually a masterpiece, one of the best stories ive ever read. Its so well written, realistic and relatable it cant get any better (well if sungjoon ended with naru than it would be even more better but yeah yknow)
