honestly, at ch58, it feels like a perfect place for this novel to end. i have so much sympathy for squall as he was also a victim who was manipulated and taken advantage of, but that doesnt mean that i dont feel endlessly happy and satisfied about mags ending, because shes no longer ‘margaret who loves the prince’ but ‘mag’. the storytelling was phenomenal, and i loved the references to the little mermaid that were scattered throughout the story. I hope that there is a sequel out there about squall and his future, because there was no ‘bad guy’ in the main cast, only misunderstood and manipulated kids. everyone deserves nothing but the upmost happiness (except for that bitchahh king-no-more)
