For real he’s been awful the whole time, but the author has just made him several levels worse these past few chapters. Any attempt at a redemption arc is futile. If they wanted him to be the love interest, they shouldn’t have written these past few chapters.
If only BL characters actually went to prison for the sex crimes they committed. But we can dream
