I...can't read this. HOWEVER, the original concept is good. I don't usually make a negative comment about manga because I feel it brings the translator down who took the effort to do this (you did a good job, it just isn't the best story).
So, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm guessing this originates from China. I have noticed that the books coming from there as opposed to like Japan or Korea tend to put pretty over plot. They tend to put the characters in the worst possible situation, regardless of if it makes any sense. It's gorgeous, but has no logic.
I also understand that different authors want to try writing about a plot like becoming a princess with and evil emperor dad. I've read two others that both have this plot and have good and bad things about them. They are different enough I don't even see it as plagiarism. (I'm not 100% sure which one came first)
These are they:

You can clearly see similarities to both in this story (one is blonde, the other has red eyes)
and honestly if you were disappointed with this, please check them out, they did this so much better!
As much as I love this, I just feel like its a little rushed. I felt the same way about the end of Secretary Kim, I want the beans to be happy, but like I wish it wasn't on a "The Sims" timeline (Meaning: first meeting->married with kids at lightning speed) This is one of my favorite ongoing stories, I'd just prefer a more leisurely ending to an amazing story.
The tragic back story is recapped in the first chapter. And while it feels very rushed, hopefully this means we will get to the meat and potatoes of the story quickly.
This story falls into the "hero lands into sticky situation where they are thrown out for one reason or another"
Others examples:
Shield Hero- (not my fav but it's popular) I mention this one because it takes like 15 chapters to say what this other one does in one chapter

Kanzen Kaihi Healer no Kiseki- I love this one, more game strategy and not as melodramatic

Word Master- Highly recommend

*PLEASE READ*
I myself was skeptical of this, it just didn't seem like my thing. I put off reading it but I would like everyone that hasn't to give it a chance and here's why...
***Spoiler (not really, but you've been warned)***
This manga highlights the fact that men can be easy to manipulate pigs. However, it also shows both how kind they can be when they love someone and how important equal rights are. It seems like an over dramatic fluff piece, but it deals with major social conflicts. Come for the female empowerment commentary, stay for the tsunderes. If they are your thing, this is a masterpiece.
One of the main complaints I see on this site and elsewhere about female MCs is that they are weak and annoying. I don't find this MC annoying because she intelligent and fights in the only way she can. She may seem like the "kyaa" type who stands there and does nothing but they actually show her strengths in other areas to make up for this.
Also, I'd just like to say that almost all of the times when the dad was being mean, despite being a jerk he looks unbelievably cute. And when he is being adorable it gives me life.
Thank you for your time
P.S.
STRAWBERRIES!!!
