First, I want to thank the translator for doing a good job. Especially since I feel the need to say that I 100% HATE this. I usually try to avoid yaoi with rape, but I understand that to read the genre you have to relax your irl standards a bit.
Generally, I think that some smut without plot is ok where you go from strangers > inside each other is ok, especially if its funny and lighthearted. But the author came at this in a psychological angle trying to deal with the unfunny side of a stressful job. Which to me, puts you in Ten Count territory with the seriousness you have to take with it.

No, I wouldn't say that. Their eyes are different colors. And the "perfect version" of oneself certainly wouldn't include a shitty-ass personality like Peridot's.

What I mean by perfect is if she was the real main character of a typical otome game like romance manga. (look not personality) I prefer her the way she is of course.
It seems a lot of people have picked up on a recent shift in plot in this story, for the worse unfortunately. I think that the author came up with the plot concept "gender bender: billionaire edition" but didn't flesh out the whole story. It almost seems as if they have no idea where the story is supposed to go and they are running out of ideas and creativity.
Recently I've been moving from manga to novels for some new material. I found one in particular that in the beginning made fun of dog blood plots and dumb tropes, but after about 100 chapters, it started to use those tropes. The same thing seems to be happening here. The interesting characters are becoming flat and exactly the same as a million other Chinese stories. I'm very sad to see this happen to this story.

It's in color not black and white, even if all the faces are the same you could differentiate them by color at least. Or not give them all moles in similar places. Siiiigh.
Plus, the Doctor is awful I can't even get into the second couple.
