can I just say– I love how as the story progresses, we see so many people cherishing and protecting Arien and Arjen. If you remember them from Ch.1, these two kids were abused at such a young age and had no one to depend on but each other. Their world was limited to only them both and they had trust issues that came with their abandonment trauma. Now to see that only do they have a real family, they have their guardian Jason and a dragon (Sidwell) who want to protect them as they grow. Like, it’s so heartwarming
