and handling it SO well. They're not perfect humans. They're fragile and lonely. They make shitty mistakes and they try to make up for it. I love how even if everything seems simple, it was made complex by the circumstances and human emotions. Really looking forward to this story and how both leads would be forged into better, but still fragile, human beings.
She needs this time with his ex for catharsis so I get why the story went to this point. The whole lesson of this story is freedom. Baggage from her past and very low low self-esteem is stopping her from being free as she wants to be and even opening herself to others on a deeper level (her relationship with the ML).
It's fucked up but psychological BL well done.
