I tried so hard to read this, but between the older brother being all “Little brother, we’re brothers, (▰˘◡˘▰), and letting his brother be so involved in his life to the toxicity, I just couldn’t. First of all, you’re 29... While I understand what happened as a teen, why exactly is it that you can’t take care of yourself? And why are you allowing your little brother to be so involved in everything? I don’t know the word for it. Second, I may be speaking out of term? But the little brother, despite what happened and his abuse, to me he’s kinda creepy. I had to force myself to finish this. And I hate that. I wanted to like this story, but they both just got on my nerves.

I see alot of people think that Sungjoon did everything out of love..... you don’t sabotage all of your friends romantic relationships and sneak around behind their backs like that out of love. He knows Naru wants a relationship, he’s always wanted one. Instead of supporting that, he gave him flip flop advice and messed up his love life for his own satisfaction. It’s manipulative especially because he’s aware Naru trusts him and will believe anything he says. He also knows Naru doesn’t have experience so he can do whatever he wants without Naru realizing. None of this is out of love and I can’t believe people are saying he is. Think about this objectively.

...ppl in love do crazy things tho, love is a lot of emotions, like care, jealousy etc. i see a lot of ppl judging love and saying its something else when it may just be love and they are denying that persons emotion bc they dont find there actions right or just dont know what to do with them. so objectively i think sungjoon didnt know how else to act then that, he loves him so he didnt want to give him up.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with not knowing what to do. But from the way things are going, he knows exactly what he’s doing. He keeps saying “I don’t want Naru to do this, I don’t want Naru to do that.” And while it’s nothing wrong to look out for your best friend, there’s boundaries that he is crossing because he wants Naru to himself. He knows what he’s doing. Sungjoon is very aware of it. Yes love does make you do crazy things, and yes of course he doesn’t want to give him up. But his actions... his actions are not right and he knows they’re not yet he keeps doing it. It’s like he says it’s for Naru but it’s really for himself. Why else would he meet Somi in secret? Why else would he give both of them advice like that? It’s messed up.
While there is nothing wrong with dumb moments, the here is like an infinite dumb moment with no breaks. 30+ chapters of fucking and “you’re my childhood friend” i guess when fuking your chilhood friend means you’re still childhood friends ( ̄へ ̄)
