I actually don't understand why the author is focusing SO MUCH on shitheads backstory, like we get that he was nice to her, like, nothing about this would ever justify his horrible treatment of her. I wish they'd focus more on MCs healing and her relationship with our lover boy. Unless we start seeing some actual consequences and accountability from this guy, i don't want to keep seeing his face LOL
I sincerely hope this doesn’t turn into mc feeling mega guilty and chasing ml. Like mc did all of the things he was supposed to, he was being harassed, and went way out of his way to try and help ml find his person. Meanwhile ml has known this whole time his name is on mcs ass, like why would you not just tell him?? It’s one thing to have the “I’ll make him fall for me without him knowing he has my name” mentality, but now to avoid him?? Shitty. I hope ML is brought to his knees
Y’all really gotta quit bootlicking these authors in the comments. It’s completely okay to appreciate and like a story while still being able to criticize it. The art is great and the story is interesting, but it is completely valid to point out how disturbing it is how much of queer media has SA and non consensual behavior in it. Yes it’s fake, but even fiction shapes societal behavior.
