All the comments argueing what she should and shouldn't do, I haven't seen one which talk about Ein.
She wholehearted believed she stopped Ein from being a cruel villain like in the story because he is was still young and couldn't have been corrupted that much, but I do agree
she should have expected it from Cassius, but what can you do ╮(￣▽￣)╭ she did live a normal family life with them without seeing any signs of evil (except that one dead guy in the beginning) until recently, if you live like that for a while you tend to forget what worried you in the first place. Since them being evil wasn't an option in her eyes anymore. They changed from her point of view to normal people.
They changed pretty easily without many problems, how bad could they have been? I think she subconsciously thought along those lines which made it easy for her to not suspect their easy change.
Maybe I am reading too much into it but in the end I am only saying that I wouldn't hold it against her if she was shocked and scared, maybe even angry since they left her in the dark.(〜￣△￣)〜

Which I liked. It is the typical op mc but at least you get to see him grow every bit of the way with his brother's diary as a "cheat". At least it is knowledge which he has to make use of intsead of the typical given without much work "cheats".
Granted he did get some abilities right off the bat from his brother but not enough to make him stand out in the beginning since he also lacked in other departments so it was pretty balanced

A fun read if you just want to read fantasy game like setting which can last you for a few hours maybe, if you don't have a life like me.
*Side note*
I wouldn't say it is heavy in romance since he showed no interest, there only some googly eyes from the girl and people joking around but not a word of acknowledgement from him, if romance is something that bothers you.

I personally think it's really good it's a romance where the two leads speak different languages and can't understand each other but manage to work it out. The ML comes from a different place so customs are different but he isn't bad to the FL and he isn't dumb.

well, it's been a while since I read a manhwa this bad. I gave it a try and after 27 chapters, the whole story still gives me the feeling that this is written by a 5-years-old.
Both the ML and FL are so annoying and I feel like to language barrier is just an excuse for the author's lack of creativity
I feel like the author is someone who just learnt about things like Stockholm syndrome, feminism etc and tried to educate their readers. In a very very poor manner.
However, they are being so half-ass about the whole thing. FL whines about not loving her kidnapper and 2 chapters later, suddenly wanting to marry the guy. She led him to a church to marry without him knowing about the marriage tradition.
It's just disaster after disaster...The author has picked a topic more than they could chew on, and drown themselves in it later. It's puzzling how they could have a quality controller and being this disaster-ly bad at the same time. Even hentai is much better than this. At least they are aware of their genre, what it needs and stick to their genre.
The whole manhwa is more of a picture book for me (almost no conversation at all) and less of a story. I have played games that have more content than this.
Sorry if this seems like I was forcing my opinion on you, but this is seriously a bad manhwa, and the worst part is the publisher's/author's unawareness of how terrible it is.

Idk if I am thinking of another manhwa, but wasn’t there a scene where a snake with some guys that were sent from the sewer rats or something, that attacked her but she managed to subdue them with her song? Two died and one got brainwashed.
I am not talking about the latest 20 chaps where smth happend with the emperor.
I reread the official translation (currently chap 60) but that scene didn’t happen and I was sure it must have happened in the beginning.

Yeah super confused and I don't think they also explained exactly what the rats were until they shot out all that information in the latest chapters. It was kind of overwhelming since it seemed at the beginning they were just normal people, but a part of some sort of gang. Unless I missed something.
