I know people are frustrated but cut YuYang some slack. He's insecure and terrified. You saw how his family reacted about him coming out, not to mention they live in China, a country where they literally beat you up or send you to prison if they catch you doing any homosexual acts.
Plus its definitely terrifying to suddenly have a person confessing their love for you when all you have experienced is hate and anger. The way he cried expressed how he is running away and regrets being so consumed by his emotions. Give him time, give both of them some time.
We all want to see them finally together but honestly, the author went for a realistic approach that not every story is all rainbows and butterflies. The struggle is part of the journey and these boys are going through a lot so what we should do is support them in their journey no matter what happens.
