I wasn't really embarrassed for her. I like that she called them out on their behavior, even though she misunderstood their relationship. I think it's nice to give Ares' younger sister a reality check and to call out Ares on his rougeish behavior and how poorly he is responding the weeping pregnant woman in the room. Aaaand, my favorite part is that this looks like jealousy on Alecia's part and she mentioned having intended to accept his proposal. So now Ares has even more encouraged to keep pursuing her.
If I do become second hand embarrassed, it will probably be when they tell Alecia the pregnant woman is Ares' sister.
So I think it can be agreed that this girl's parents aren't great at parenting. But everyone is also treating them like they were grown ups when they got married and had the MC. Some people are saying this is why the MC is the way she is, which is fair. But the MC is the same age her parents were when they got married, so her parents can't be held more accountable for their actions than the MC is held accountable for her own actions. Just like the MC, the parents also have things that made them the way they are. They're all people whose lives have been sculpted by some circumstances outside their control and some circumstances within their control.
I know that Aine is already actively trying to break up with (and is disinterested in) Duke Reinhardt. I also know that Aine wants Duke Reinhardt and the heroine to get together so the king won't kill her. HOWEVER, what kind of fiance escorts another woman around town without giving his current fiancee a heads up?! It's scandalous and blatantly contradicts his statements about not wanting to call off the engagement yet! I don't ship Aine with Duke Reinhardt in the first place, but this situation is still a punch to my emotions. He really did shoot himself in the foot this time as far as his relationship with Aine goes.
As far as the heroine goes, I don't think she owes Aine any loyalty or special treatment. But I do think it is inconsiderate to spend time alone with someone else's fiance when it isn't necessary. In this novel's setting it would be a clear issue even from a commoner's point of view. It's not like Maria and Duke Reinhardt were friends already, nor is he a guard knight.
Yup I was about to comment on that. I felt the same way, like how their relationship is not legit. That she is trying to lose him, but he said he doesn't want to break it off. Plus they are still engaged so that feeling of being cheated on, is still there! He is getting worse by the second, and I was even starting to like the princess. I thought they could be really good friends. Sigh. (/TДT)/
I wanna know who the male lead is so I can ship them!!!! A lot of guys have shown up, but she doesn't have any romantic feelings for them and she's 10, so it's not like there is overt flirting going on. I haven't found any of it compelling enough to ship. But I wanna ship her with another character soooo bad! ┗( T﹏T )┛
My theory is that the 3 guardian sorceresses are called "guardians" for the same reason that parents are called guardians -- because they were actually the 3 mysterious maids in charge of raising Cecile (who was born at the same time that the grand sorceress was reborn). So, it makes sense for the guardian sorceresses to be like, "Of course we know her!"
What are other people's thoughts and theories?
Note: If you have actual spoilers, please don't share them. I'm only interested in people's theories.
I also think that the three guardian sorceresses are Cecile's maids. I also think Cecile is the Grand Sorceress. Not the Grand Sorceress's daughter. But the Grand Sorceress herself because she clearly knows very ancient spells, like muscle memory (or maybe brain?) I dont think just being the daughter will make her that proficient to using ancient magkc hence I think she's the grand sorceress. Also she has the bearing of someone with a great status. Like what other npc said she really does seem like an empress. Also the way she's not affected by any magic and she summoned a freaking dragon proves she's too powerful to be just the daughter.Maybe when she was doing her research on how to stop Eugenphi's curse some magic gone haywire and back fired to her and revert her back to being a kid and she lost her memories. Or her childhood memories might have been fabricated by the maids. The Navitan royal family never really seen her so maybe the maids just made up the story or altered their memories that there was an illigitimate daughter named Cecile. Maybe they never really stayed in the place where she supposedly grow up or because the maids doesnt really know how to clean it ended up like that.
Im sorry this is so long. I got excited. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Excuse me, Ms. Physician. I do believe you forgot the part where you truthfully tell your patient their diagnosis.
