this feels like solo for two over again but this time, the ML have zero god damn reason to be this cocky towards MC

It's gonna be waaaaay worse then what you imagine. The chasing arc is long FULL of misunderstandings, down right cruel that at some point you'll feel sorry for andante. At least that was my experience ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I mean.. ye u will se some fkd up things, but its one of the first manhwas thats made me cry, im still glad I read it, one of my favorites for sure

It will be way worse before getting better ahah. But still a reading recommend. The story has it's own way to keep you engaged

Honestly it gets waaaaaayyyyyy worst, than eventually its all white washed and now they tryna sell us on a romance with his and one of his rapist... Yeah there are emotional moments but there are waaayyyyyy more rape moments....

Yup. I mean, it's clearly not romance. That is implied by the characters' back stories, but not at all spelled out in the narration

I finished the novel.









For me, it was a very satisfying read. Ilay doesn’t have the ‘redemption’ or ‘chasing’ arc you guys might want (like groveling and begging for taeui’s forgiveness or something, it’s just not his personality). Actions speak louder than words in this novel. He grows to love taeui more than himself. Taeui becomes his weakness. He even declared that if taeui were to die, he would order someone to kill himself immediately after since he can’t live without tay (but he refused the other way around when tae insisted).

There was also once when he accidentally almost killed taeui mistaking him for someone else, and had nightmares about it for a year (very satisfying to read hahaha). He tells tay his life is meaningless without him. He also feels insecure because he thinks taeui doesn’t love him as much as he does lolll. Ilay is extremely jealous, but I don’t blame him since we encounter like 472782 other people who have a crush on tae. So he’s very protective of him and takes good care of him. They honestly have SOOO many cute and fluffy moments that I think are worth the read. Most of these happen after the main story ends though. There’s like 3 other books. I was feeling the same way you did until I read it myself. Best decision ever!

True, I really love Passion especially the novel because it really conveys the characters more accurate and there are some scenes that they don't show in manhwa. I really, really live this novel and I am so happy to finish reading it.

However, I do not easily recommend it to ppl who have traumas like rape/SA because despite the novel being good, it contains heavy scenes that may trigger them.

That is true. But I think that content warning has already been known to manhwa readers. I would expect that people know what they’re getting themselves into if they decide to read the novel, being that the manhwa already displayed rape.

In the novel, there’s a lot of rape between Christoph and Richard unfortunately. I didn’t ship them at all.
