This story has both number and quality. Each female character is well written and complex. Fu rin, a baddie, an actual idol, a guardian but also a loyal kind sweet loving badass. Like look at this action sequence. She’s the only one who is able to break through the mc’s shell and knows when to leave him alone atp. But she’s also flawed.......

Yu yu hakusho, for impact. It kills me how no one talks abt this anymore It literally set the blueprint for the entire modern shounen genre including Naruto, bleach, etc. The dark tournament arc is not only one of the best tournament arcs in all of anime, but also influenced the trajectory of all other shounen tournament arcs after it, most notab......

2 1/2 years is not long at all I think most manhwa series run for 2-4 years. Also it depends on how many breaks the author takes in between. People definitely tag the pearl boy spinoff with rape but not enough people have that's why it doesn't show up in the most used tags for it. For your last point, Netflix should hire you to make a movie script.

Guwon's starting to give "Born sexy yesterday" rather than whatever he had going on at the beginning. Maybe this is too harsh of me to say I feel like the writing has sort of decayed a bit. Guwon and teach's characterizations seem sort of heavy handed now, as opposed to the beginning where more things were implied or kept mysterious. Maybe its just a personal preference of mine, but I feel like the author doesn't have to spell out every little part of their (lowkey cliche) thoughts out to us Like "I let myself care about him not knowing he was the reason behind so many people's pain" or "I can't stop feeling disgusted with myself" or "He knows what's right or wrong and he's not afraid to call me out". Not gonna lie I think this would've flowed better in novel form, like I actually started wondering if it was a novel adaptation at one point. I'm still intrigued by their universe and all of the mysteries the author has set up, and the whole meaning of the title as well, so I'm going to keep reading ofc. But still, a part of me can't help but wonder how good this could've been if the author was a bit less heavy handed and relied more on "show" rather than "tell".

is it just me or the author fucked up the perspective

2 months post Sangyang. This is the longest I've ever gone without Sangyang. Supplies are dwindling by the minute, along with my sanity. I can't hold on for much longer. To distract myself here's something I noticed. Lau's birthday is December 31st. The yearly Zhou family ritual takes place on New Years. If my current theory is correct, and Xin is being used as some sort of sacrifice for the ritual, this is very fucked up of the author. Like wdym you set up Lau's birthday the day before the love of his life gets sacrificed The author is absolutely a sadist 100%

In their world you either be molested or live long enough to become the molester. Wtf is this universe bro
