yes, i understand that the season ending this way leaves off on some type of drama cliffhanger, but let’s be real! this is probably the best bl you are reading at the moment, from the art style to the writing and to how the characters are treating one another.
for me, personally, i get excited every time this manhwa updates because it’s at the top of my list! to complain about a season end when you know the plot will be good going further seems almost ungrateful for how well thought out and cared for this story is!
art wise? yes 1000% it's sooo beautiful, but even then for top current bl, Netkama Punch!!!, Lost in the Cloud, and Half of Me are the top 3 on my mind that have both beautiful art and a good story. like this one definitely a more spicy read, but in just the spice levels, Double Trap hands down takes the bag in the art, story, and spice levels. don't get me wrong, I'm huge about art that rlly nails facial expressions which this one does, but it's a little lacking on character depth and plot in my opinion. I like the mc, but 23 chapters in I wish the author developed his character a bit more. more on the ml tho, I don't rlly kno why he does anything, hopefully we see more into what kind of personality he has, but I can't sense any character arc from what I've seen so far so it leaves me a little confused. the plot funny, I don't think the plot gotta be this elaborate heist to be good, but I don't feel any kind of arc in this season, hopefully in the next season tho

haha, agree to disagree then! i checked out the titles you mentioned here and admittedly the only one that intrigued me was lost in the cloud. the others just remind me of the style any other yaoi comes off with without anything that stands out much to my eyes. i will have to check out that one tho bc it looks very unique. otherwise i think it’s silly people are hating so much when this story is such a nice break from the overly traumatizing themes of abuse, noncon, dubcon, SA, etc that are came by in every story now it seems.
…no matter how poor the writing is, i’ll say that the art has definitely come a long way since BJ Alex… that one full frame of them kissing while under the covers from the top down pov was actually kind of cute lol
