I don't understand the difficulty everyone is having to read the English used in this story.
Yes, the vocabulary is more sophisticated and diverse than many of the other works found in this site, but it's perfectly understandable.
I think you guys should read more, and I mean actual books. Your lack of understanding comes from your limited vocabulary, so you should enriched it!!
