Yes, I actually don’t think he’s pathetic or being malicious at all. He was in a very bad place for years without anyone reaching out to help him out. Only looked at him breaking without acknowledging it or helping him acknowledge it and address his past and ways to move forward. They only looked at him like he was a lost case or unnoticeable enough. It really speaks to the reality a lot of people who develop mental and psychological needs and how society don’t notice or help until it becomes a bother to them. So he is to me a very fleshed out character. And I really can’t help but root for him and wish his partner can help him out. Actually help each other out cause.m both of them grew in a toxic household. ╥﹏╥
