so this is the timeline of what happened between heejae and taekyung so far in the raws (up to ch 49). SPOILER!!!

heejae and taekyung were classmates in high school and they fell for each other. they were dating without anyone knowing. heejae was the light of taekyung's life (because he was pressured to study hard as one of the future heirs of G&G group), he made taekyung's home life bearable. one day they promised to meet each other. that fateful night is the night heejae got into an accident. he asked haejoo to lend him his motorcycle so he can meet taekyung (haejoo doesn't know about taekyung). this is also why haejoo feels guilty because he feels that if he hadn't lent his bike, heejae wouldn't have to be in that accident.
so taekyung didn't get to meet heejae that night. the next day, in his school desk was a flower bouquet addressed to him from heejae, saying that heejae has left him. it was actually sent by heegyum who somehow found out about heejae's secret escapade and wanted to break it apart. taekyung went to look for heejae in his house but heegyum has made heejae's accident and hospitalisation a secret so taekyung was kicked out without any answer. for the next 10 years, taekyung believes that heejae left him and got so heartbroken by it.
in the 10 years period, taekyung had met heejae on a party but heejae didn't recognise him. it fuelled his anger, or disappointment, and he wanted to know why heejae left him (and a part of him wanted to hurt heejae the way heejae hurt him, as revenge). so he somehow devised a plan to slither back into heejae's life, while also using heejae to get information about jinhwa group because G&G is planning an acquisition or something while also revealing heegyum's dirty scandals with his company's funds.
in later chapters, taekyung finds out about heejae's accident and amnesia, and pressures haejoo to explain what happened. haejoo explains everything and that's when taekyung realises that heejae got into accident on his way to meet him. he realises that heejae never left him, he was in love with him until he lost his memory. heejae simply doesn't remember taekyung.
taekyung then reveals his true identity and his dirty plan to heejae because he doesn't want to lie to him anymore. he reveals that he's been using heejae to get to jinhwa's dirty secrets. heejae cries, asking taekyung to tell him he was lying. taekyung is moved by his tears and hugs him, saying he's planning to keep a business-like tone with heejae because he doesn't want to be involved with heejae and hurt him further, but he can't. he then says he plans to keep heejae in his place to keep him off the spotlight while heegyum is being put on trial for his frauds and corruption. up until the latest chapter, their relationship is still growing, but there's no hard feelings between heejae and taekyung anymore <3

i'm a college student who lives alone and i FEEL YIJIN SO MUCH. cooking by myself is healthier and cheaper (because healthy, ready-made food is very costly here), but the portion of groceries, especially veggies, sold in markets are too big for one person, so i end up throwing most of them once they're old :( i wish these cheaper, healthy ready-made food idea can be implemented everywhere
If you can, it can be cheaper/less time consuming/healthier to batch cook meals (think one pot cooking) that you can build up in the freezer, or eat that week, by storing in the fridge, then just add whatever fresh bits and pieces you have to make it into a full rounded meal.
i've been thinking, i feel that most of the hyunjins here represent a trait/personality that leans more towards the bad side in the spectrum.
white is most likely a narcissistic sociopath, red is manipulative, orange is a scaredy-cat (sorry baby;; he's not necessarily evil, but cowardice isn't a favourable trait to me), purple is an egoistic opportunist, short-hair is short-tempered and arrogant, the first hyunjin who died was untrusting and hurtful, black is apathetic, and !!!SPOILER ALERT!!! pink is a bully (he bullies orange in a later chapter but it's probably his distaste towards orange for being a murderer, not sure if he's inherently "bad" or not).
now, we don't know much about green before he died. yellow and light blue also haven't had distinctive actions in the story. i put them as neutral for now.
blue hyung is interesting. he's had a large part in the story from the beginning because he was told he was the real one, then the fake. in a way, it makes him act like he *is* a fake, aka being real nice to doyoung because he doesn't want to "die." for me, he's the only one who's consistently nice, but i don't know if it's true from his heart or because he wants to win doyoung's favour. i think the author purposely paints him in a good light because she wants us to like him (and hell yea she succeeded).
also, what mr rose said, about people before doyoung in the end choosing the person who fits their fantasy the most? is it what mr rose wants? make blue hyung subtly the most favourable one to deceive doyoung? is blue hyung real or fake? either way, i'd feel so sorry for doyoung if the real one turns out to be one with a terrible personality. how would you feel if the person you love is a bad man who's done questionable things? i wouldn't wish that on doyoung. i really hope the real hyunjin is as nice as we've seen him in early chapters. they both deserve that happiness after the literal hell this hotel has put them through :(
That's half true because the fake ones, if doyoung chooses them, will die and then spread flowers around but the real one won't. I'm not sure but I guess that all of them are the real ones but they got an extra personality and that's how he'll recognize the real one, because the real one didn't get an extra personality, i guess.. i might be wrong haha
But you know Doyoung isn't choosing them, as you may realized he's always trying to let them be alive and safe all together because he is sure of them being all the same hyung just in seperated personalities. I seriously love Doyoung and I'm so sorry for him.. it myst be very tough ;-;
