I know we all hating on the Prince rn, but can we take a moment to talk about her oldest brother smacking her across the face right after she was kidnapped?? Like sir?? For all you know, she has just come from a traumatic event and is masking the trauma by joking. A 26 year old man slapping a 10 year old across the face, have you no shame?? My brother hits me like that and he's dead to me forever
Y'all idk if I can wait another month or two for the next chapter to release, but I know that they never miss with these chapters so it's better for them to take their time. I'm so conflicted.
This last chapter alone has given me such a rush, I don't think I'll be able to sleep anytime soon. Godspeed author/artist
Why are they making her look weak? She's literally a solo mode player. Sure she has a timid personality, but she's progressed far enough by herself that she shouldn't be THIS meek, especially in the face of such a loser.
GIRL STAND UP FOR YOURSELF, I CAN'T HAVE MC HAVING TO SAVE HER WHEN SHE'S PERFECTLY CAPABLE
she's always been a scaredy-cat. The only difference is that in the first timeline, all the solo mode players died except her so she HAD to advance by her own wit, and being all alone with no one to talk to, could mess her personality a bit (but not much). This time instead, the MC basically gave her a walkthrough. She didn't have to think of a strategy herself, and she isn't even lonely, she has ppl to chat with on the community.
I totally get this, I do, but having to clear the tower stages by yourself and solely by your own merit, I'd feel that's enough to exponentially grow a person who's meek and timid. I don't really know the timeline for this manga, but it feels like they've been clearing the floors for several months now.
The community chat definitely plays a factor in keeping your mental stability and safety, but I don't think that can make up for the absence of having someone with you when you're killing monsters day after day. Because you're forced to rely on yourself and trust yourself, I reckon this amount of insecurity isn't realistic. I don't expect her to be at the same mental capacity as before, but this is too much for the potential and power she currently has I'd love to see her boss bitch her way through this situation, I crave strong women representation
this!!! shes alone on clearing the floors yes she can communicate but she can’t see them she can’t really get their help. if she’s dying they can’t do anything and she knows this. so she has to be able to rely on herself and get strong which she’s been doing. so she should be able to stand up for herself and have some trust in herself.
I think y'all forgetting the fact that she only got floor 8 atm and she even told tae-san all about her "cowardly" clear methods. The strong girl we all knew was the sole clearer of solo mode and trust me, a lot of thing can happen as you descent dozens of floors that can totally change a person. It's just not quite her awakening era yet.
You know, I might have understood a little bit if he had to work crazy hours and she was purely a housewife, but it looks like he works the 9-5 and she works as well??? And she takes care of all the housework and children? Is this dude insane? I can't stand men like this, please divorce him forever. Homegirl taking care of 3 children smh
Ain't no way MC should end up with Woojin, it was unhealthy and toxic and should be a forgotten chapter in his new life. From Woojins POV, I hate the whole "he's acting different so now I forget all the shitty things he's done and now I'm obsessed" trope. I would love for them to just be friends who overcame difficulties, leave the romance to Noah, I feel like they had decent chemistry since day 1 (and he's cuter with more personality, I said it)
Mc wasnt actually bad if i remember, what he did was not enough to hate him, just enough to get irritate you. Hes just an unreliable narrator. Hes more bratty than actual evil. I think at this point he just refuses to do field guiding, taunts and bothers Woojin every now and then. Even the whole teaming up with stepmom and employing the father of Woojin's gf was mild. He literally did just that, employed the dad and taunts them, but never really did anything. He was just that guy who teases you often but never really did anything apart from that. So Woojin doesnt really have anything to hate the mc for. In his eyes, Mc is just a bothersome rich brat who doesnt wanna do field guiding cause hes scared and he kinda likes him too, so hes ok with him not going to dangerous places. Its not like hes obsessed out of nowhere too, he was already obsessed with his guiding. I think he changed guides cause he thought mc hated guiding him so it was actually more for mcs sake than his.
Yeah the manhwa is portraying this a little different from the novel, I guess it’s to make it seem like Woojin really hated MC, but that’s not actually the case. It’s a big spoiler, but MC isn’t a reliable narrator. If you pay attention you figure it out early while reading the novel. If not, then you find out near the end of the novel from ML's point of view. Like RandomPasserby said, he didn’t do anything that’s really bad in his past life. Just wanted attention, because he got attached to ML.
Okay, although Woojin and Jaechan almost seem like they have a toxic relationship.. its not something that can't be worked on and Jaechan has chosen to work on himself which is reflecting in his relationships with everyone around him including Woojin.. I support their relationship and major part is bc Jaechan isn't working on himself bc he wants Woojin but bc he learnt he should be a better person for the people he love.. this is a bit of a spoiler but Woojin in novel recognizes Jaechan's tendency to leverage himself and his life to meet his goals and help his loved ones which is bad.. and Woojin tries to get him to change bc it isn't a healthy trait.. that to me is a partner worth having.. and I like the fact that Jaechan gave himself a chance to be in an actual relationship with Woojin 2nd time around while he kept Woojin on a pedestal for both his lives.. Jaechan doesn't know how to do relationships be it romantic or platonic and I love for him to be able to learn those thing this time around while Woojin supports him from side-lines..
PS: Noah in novel is border-line homophobic bc of his stalker being a guy. Idk how it'll translate in manhwa.. so yeah, I don't support that.. I hope he gets the help he needs..
Oh their relationship isn’t toxic at all when they get together. Now it’s not the best but it does get better and they have a perfect relationship in the end. Noah isn’t really homophobic later in the novel. The most homophobic he acted after MC saved his ass is is being disgusted at seeing MC's brother sniffing his underwear, which is reasonable and not homophobic.
Y'all be real with me please - is this fiancee gonna be a problem? Will this defer from the main storyline of action and comraderie? I can understand his blushing because of how he was pre-transition, but is this going to completely derail the manga in a male monkey brain kinda way? Surely not, but I've seen bigger titles fall from grave with this one simple trick
Absolutely in love with the character design for the dragon!! I feel like a lot of manga get it wrong (imo) when they draw to the dragon to female human transition. You can feel her grace, power, age, her whole demeanor reflects that she stands above others - super keen to see more of her in the future ヾ(☆▽☆)
