before, i had a huge second male lead syndrome bc of joseph. i hate it. and i hate second male lead syndrome so much. (i hate true beauty webtoon argh, it gave me severe syndrome) i stopped reading this novel way back bc i heard it's not guaranteed that joseph is the ml. im attached to him cuz he's the first man introduced that has feelings for keira and he's such a green flag. but anyway, i stopped reading this when season 1 was ongoing. so it's been a looongg long time. i basically have no recollection of all that has happened so i had to read from chapter 1.
however, this time, i started reading this again with complete awareness that erez is the ml. I assessed keira’s scenes with erez and joseph. they had equal ground, they were on the same ground before season 3. but undoubtedly, the result was, erez is the true ml. as the story progressed, the significance of erez cannot be ignored. he was SO needed for the plot to progress. it was by no means forced, erez was great as an individual, as a magician, and as a prospective lover. as a reader, i liked erez’s character so much, he has so much personality, he's unique, full of life, love, and color. i feel sad bc i think he's so underrated. well, that's that I guess. anyway, im just saying that this was good and it deserves a fair chance.
