Okay, I don’t know if it’s just me but some of these comments bother me. I’m not saying you have to like this, it’s definitely made for people who enjoy these types of stories. I’m more intrigued with both characters and interested in seeing in what direction it will go.
I don’t find the ML ugly, but he isn’t that good looking either; especially in certain panels. I do like his appearance though, as I feel like it portrays his character well. It’s not every day you see an author that step out of the traditional way of drawing ML like him. As usually when it comes to red/black flag ML their looks are very important, as most people are willing to forgive a character that is conveniently attractive. I know not everyone does, but it’s a good majority.
The thing that bother's me is that the comments would be very different if he was designed differently. Not saying you have to find him attractive, but the hypocrisy I’m seeing makes me laugh. Like he is terrible don’t get me wrong, but there have been ML’s that are just as bad or even worse than what he is done so far. Yet, people are saying that he is the worst ML that they have ever seen? I have seen a some more mainstream BL that have that the ML is just as bad and some of y'all eat them up. You can excuse rape and murder, but draw the line at killing a kid? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ like at least people who think more logically, be it they like it or not knows he sucks for everything he is doing.
I know not everyone thinks like this, but I have seen this more and more and it’s been bothering me just because the ML isn’t traditionally handsome. Btw sorry for my bad English -
I’m not sure if I’m 100% correct, but I follow the artist on twt and I’m pretty sure the story isn’t over !!! It’s either a sequel or second part
I finally got back to rereading this and let me just say; that I love how the characters are written. Especially Nick (note: not excusing any behavior plz don’t attack me!!!)
I find Nick to be such a refreshing and interesting character. The author wrote his character well, but there is so much more depth you go into with his character and his relationship with Theo. Even more his relationship Louis…cause wow so much going on there too
I’m also happy the author avoided using overused tropes (like sa) when it came to his character. He makes the mc uncomfortable, but there is no need for that. I see too many authors do that, wanting to have a “villain” when Nick is someone who you can meet in real life or you can relate to in your worst times.
Nick isn’t a good person, and don’t get me wrong his actions are terrible! But, I don’t think he is irredeemable or a monster. I was glad to see at the end the authors lets us know that he is taking his first steps forward, by himself.
If this doesn’t make any sense sorry, I don’t know how to explain myself well lol
