I was almost scared off by that cover cus it looks HELLA suspicious lmao but this might have potential? (But correct me if I'm wrong, hes NOT underage right...? (⊙…⊙ ))
then Im dropping it???? Im not reading a probably middle aged man (knight) getting into a relationship with a clearly VERY vulnerable young person with a history of being sexually taken advantage of. He could be 18/19 and I'd still be icked out, his brain isn't even fully developed. Not saying other people can't read it (look at this hell site) but I wouldn't be interested ( ̄へ ̄)
Human brains don't stop developing till 25-30 years of age and even then adults can still be groomed and taken advantage of.
Not saying you have to force yourself to read something you don't wanna read, but going by the "his brain isn't even fully developed" as a reason for him to not have sexual relations is dumb given what we know about how the human brain develops. Just say you don't like age gap and move on lol that's more believable at the end of the day.
Nah. You're totally misunderstanding me. I'm fine with age gaps, even with new adults being intimate with others regardless of age freely. MCs situation is my problem. Jumping from being sexually abused at a VERYYY young age into a new relationship with a much older man (and one that looks like its going to be quite intense judging by the writing) is objectively dangerous. Obviously it's fiction so maybe they live happily ever after, but again, it puts ME off. No one needs to be upset over my personal tastes, so please don't decide for me what I do and dont like!
TLDR: age gap fine, me no like he mentally unwell, he need more time to heal and mature. And I do think age gaps are better after 23+ (again, in MY opinion!)
Her friend was right though, all men should aspire to be Gyeol, amen
