Kaii: I love you. I'll call you my beloved.
Asuka: I-is this... friendship???
bRUH I'M—
I've been losing my mind trying to track it down and I'm starting to wonder if I just dreamed up the whole thing, but it's a story about a hairdresser (uke) who sends out his scissors to get sharpened and writes letters to the person who does it, and one day he has to take the scissors to the sharpening place in person, and realizes the one who's been working on his scissors is a really intimidating long-haired guy (seme), and he's super embarrassed that he's been writing letters to this dude. Cue romance, lmao.
At some point, he cuts the seme's hair (big loss there imo), and it's all fluffy and cute. If I remember right, the seme wears traditional Japanese clothes and his workshop is set up in a traditional house, and there are two kids that visit him all the time (the uke fixes the girl's hair at some point, too, to cheer her up after she's been bullied or something). I can't find it anywhere in my lists or on google, so if someone knows what I'm talking about, please let me know!
Oh, there's also another yaoi I'm looking for, because when I was looking for this one, I think I confused some details and got distracted and ended up finding neither one?? It's about an office worker whose colleague recommends he takes calligraphy classes because his handwriting is so bad, so he goes to the class and falls in love with the teacher. If I remember right, the main conflict is that he's too shy to be around the teacher, so he changes his calligraphy class to another, but the teacher finds out and is all "no way i wanna see you all the time, you can't go to another class :(" and then they sort their stuff out and start dating~~
Yeah, I guess it's not much to go on, but if anyone knows either of these mangas, please let me know~~ thanks!
you know, i never get tired of the trope of "let's apologize to my would-be ASSAULTER for "getting him involved in this mess" when he was literally about to ASSAULT me and BITE me AGAINST MY WILL, no no, sure, let's just apologize to HIM as if HE'S somehow been wronged in all of this and not me"

so after checking out the novel........ i'd say we're in for another 20 chapters or so before they finally sort their shit out and admit to each other (and to themselves) that maybe possibly they just might have caught some kinda feelings.... ._.
Genuinely wondering how long this series is gonna be, because Jigu is in hardcore delulu denial land, and Yeowoon seems to have zero romantic feelings towards Jigu whatsoever, so like... are we gonna be here until chapter 200 before they even consider a kiss on the cheek?? Not that I mind a slow-burn, but man ;;;
"very demure, very mindful," I THOUGHT I WAS SEEING THINGS FOR A SECOND—
i usually don't like real-world memes inserted into translations, but with this silly little (big) guy's expression and attitude, it just fit sooooo perfectly
this entire story could be summed up by "miscommunication on steroids" istg
I'm guessing Kotani has some kind of trauma related to marriage... something like his parents' marriage was really bad and their divorce traumatized him so now he never wants to get married himself, which, okay, sure, but then he shouldn't have gotten involved with Shishikura's marriage interview/date thing with the nerd alpha in the first volume. Sure, he loves Shishikura and that's why he did it, but holy crap is it selfish to try and screw with someone else's chances for marriage, only to then go "oh yeah btw i'm never gonna marry u lol"
dude in chapter 2 is like "I would never force you to do something you didn't like" as if he didn't manipulate the mc into dating him in the first place, like bro.... why is the mc moved by this???
Oh man, I can't believe the author decided to "fade to black" in the moment where they finally found each other at last... (;___;) like it's all been building towards it, with both of them placing such a huge emphasis on longing for physical touch, and then we don't even get to see them touch for the first time? We don't get to see the first words they exchange in person? I dunno, personally just really took the wind out of the sails for me, which is really sad, because it was such a beautiful story up until that point :(
wait, am i missing something? everyone's talking about this "being the end" or the story being over, but when has that been mentioned?? the translator has mentioned this being the end of volume six, but i can't find any information mentioning this is the end of naoto and hazuki's story :o
People are really out here complaining about the free content they consume.... please ignore them and continue uploading as you have so far, I'd much rather have frequent snippets of each chapter than wait one whole month in between uploads! And thank you for uploading at all!
i'm pretty sure it just means "the last chapter of the volume" (at least there's nothing at the end of the chapter that indicates the series is ending, it just says "to be continued" as usual)
okay i know it's for comedic effect but for once, could the main character maybe?? talk?? before making decisions ilke this?? he joined that other guild without talking to the poseidon guild about it, and now "breaking up" with jistar even though he didn't really seem to want to because "welp, a promise is a promise" like bro, maybe shoot someone a message? have a conversation?? anything???
hhhhh i know it's not that serious, but it seems like a whooooole lot of drama could be avoided if he just... let out some of that internal dialogue a bit more lmao
