Not an artist but I guess it's more on the realistic side. I think the artists would want us to feel and see their world in a realistic point of view to show how it feels like to live inside their world rather than how we see it in our point of view as an outsider (reader/player/author)

Let's say, we are living in the manga world, as a character IN this world we see everything realistically but if we are an outsider (reader/author ) we view it in 2D.

Also, the medium of art take a role as well. If it's from manga, comic anime, we view everything as 2D, if it's novel, we view it through imagination or if it's game, we view it either 2D or 3D but let's say it has been made to a live adaptation; so now we will view it realistically because there are actors playing the role, moving in a real setup. (Im thinking of the movies; Jumanji and Enchanted as an example)

I guess it would boil down to author's intention and medium of art. I hope I'm making sense or atleast helped you with the question (￣∇￣")

real, tbh the most of those authors just copy off what's trending, and the other readers just keep making those types popular because of their engagement (whether they hated or not)

See I get why authors write those sorts of stories (to make bank) but I don’t get why tf people keep reading those stories??? They’re lowkey also all the same plot too. 7’4 mafia oligarch alpha blonde daddy holds hostage & rapes a dude ALWAYS smaller than him who has severe debt. Then somehow the victim forgives him??? How!? he doesn’t even have any redeeming qualities. Fr so often authors forget to give these guys an actual character other than being sadists & rapists. I can understand liking “dark romance” to a certain extent but bffr so often the stories are just the same recycled garbage w shit plots. Just trauma porn with a happy ending for the sake of it.

People srsly need to stop reading ts. A lot of the engagement of these stories comes from people hating on it, which proceeds to make it more popular and then the algorithm shoves ts onto everyone’s featured page… making it even more popular and the cycle repeats. Please for the love of god stop commenting on the stories and making them popular. Give them a bad review and leave it please Everytime I open this goddamn website my eyes are flashbanged with the most vile rapists known to mankind.

I kinda like the rape that traumatizes me because at least then I know the author wrote the rape properly and is depicting it how it should be. Anything else is trash. This is why I don't touch popular manhwa these days if I want something serious to read because I just know no one is gonna take a sexual assault seriously. And it's not even about "oh its fiction, who cares" it's more like, its fiction, so out of all the creative fcking ideas you could've used to develop the story, you thought rape is cute?

I agree, I don't think writing about rape is bad, it's more about *how* it's written. And people need to realize that fiction does affect reality to some extent.
