i think this is the best thing i've ever read in the last few years. i'm not even playing. if you're not sure because you think you'll be bored, TRUSTTTT me. just read the first few chapters and you'll be hooked on FAST. i felt this attached to the characters and the story only a few times, with "lost in the cloud" and "a form of sympathy", but never this strongly. the plot and the storytelling are out of this world. the dramatic tone of the series isn't persistent and there are very light and nice moments of comedy, and (i want to believe until the end) almost every arc has a good closure. it touches themes in a way i've never seen before, it truly makes you feel what these kids felt in their private lives, and makes you sympathise with them. i feel so lucky to be able to read this, and i can't wait to see how everything will evolve and end and at the same time i want it to last forever ughhhh. big big emotions

i read the novel! it's slightly different but i love how this manga shows how pure and unconditional love can be. the cat's perspective is a smart plot device imo, it was a sweet read.

loved this but it was a hard read. i bet the main character definitely learned something from all that, about not judging, being less scared of accepting oneself in a social setting and about how stupid it is to be misogynistic. sad that the only thing that woke him up was that horrible act. adults who sexually abuse minors deserve nothing but internal damnation.

this was. so good. i love when stories that center around a relationship between two people don't depict only the romantic part but everything built around it. i loved the way each character had to resolve something for themselves and themselves only, before finding resolution as a couple. idk i hope that made sense
