I was worried for a second that Sensei had drifted into the 'Yuuki is a asshole and an overly possessive scumbag who's a total player, but Yamato likes him anyway' blah blah blah.
Yuuki is still possessive, and a bit of a scumbag, but he's not quite as much of a dick as he could have been. As always, I find myself falling for Sensei's work all over again. Super cute!
Everyone is really roasting Shinwoo - and I get it, I really do, because Yujin's situation really sucks and it's really unfair - but... I have to wonder.
He said he 'can't forget' someone, but he never actually said he 'loved' them. Right? That definitely leaves the situation open to possibilities. And, you know, given how he reacted in his flashback after making Yujin cry, I really don't think he's as heartless as the story is making him out to be.
I don't know, maybe I'm just being naively optimistic, but I'm keeping an open mind. Or maybe it's not optimistic if I'm contemplating the possibility that Shinwoo's anti-kissing, promiscuity, and 'problem with love' is a result of some kind of trauma or past bad experience? I dunno.
Food for thought.
I’m only about 20 chapters in (so please no spoilers!!!!) and have decided that 1) I really, really don’t want this to turn into a ‘victim falls for his rapist who actually has a tragic backstory and thus supposed reason for raping him’ and 2) Yule’s sister is insane and delightful XD
I've read all the translated chapters available on this site. I also left a lengthy comment. The one I can't stand is Yule's sister. Knew exactly what was happening to Kyungsoo but didn't do nothing about it. Yule's brother is a hypocrite. "You need help" "How could you do this to him?" We're all the words that left his mouth. While we raped Kyungsoo and abused him.. Yule is some idiot who can't understand consent, kidnapping and love. Trying to make Kyungsoo his will never work. The whole fa ily is ignorant and if I ever get inside of my screen and into that manga I'm going to vist each one.
Is anyone else going to comment on the blatant victim blaming going on?
No? Just me then?
I enjoy the supernatural dynamics of ABO but this kind of stuff... It hits too close to reality sometimes. It feels like a social statement that’s very skewed
