here’s a basic translation of his note he writes in his diary before he attempts to kill himself. the website i was reading on covered some of the writing w their logo but this is the gist:
i hope we meet again. i hope that i can recognize you at a glance, seeing you smiling brightly just like that time. i hope that i can keep you in my eyes and never let you go. goodbye, the one who meant everything to me. my summer.
he says 여름아 at the end, he’s referring to jiyoung as his summer or calling her summer instead of just referring to summer literally as a season
