This is so queer and can speak to anyone who is queer. Having different aspects of one's self can feel lonely when one aspect is rejected and forced into a closet -- so having someone open that closet and tell you "this is you and I love all of you" is so fucking. amazing.
God this is such a validating story. It can obv be read as a trans story or a gender non conforming story etc. but it was just validating. I love this. I love how the author conveyed their idea.
This was really thorough and good. I really enjoyed how fleshed out they were, and the growth the characters had.

I'm ok with noncon and kinky problematic thongs and all thar but honestly the amount of slutshaming caught me off guard. I feel bad for kotetsu :( he obviously needed more support and he is in no way trash just for sleeping around :(
I was kinda expecting bunny to be gentle since this is how I ship them, but he ended up nonconning kotetsu. I wished the dj didn't have that part. I also wish they didn't make such a big deal out of kotetsu sleeping around, or at least didn't treat it like some awful sin he's committing, when the only person he was hurting was himself.
Imagining in my head an alternate progression:
Bison doesn't berate kotetsu that much. Instead of slutshaming him, they are exasperated about how self-destructive he is. They don't treat his slutiness as if it's some moral failing.
Meanwhile, Bunny decides to go a slower and steadier route with this. He seduces Kotetsu instead of outright rape him. Maybe dubcons him with alcohol without it being outrighthumilitaing. They have rough sex but kotetsu also gets body worshipped.
As for them getting together, Bunny just declares that he will wait for Kotetsu as long as he it takes until Kotetsu feels ready for takingthe next step further (butBunny doesn't play fair because he also gets a bit more aggressive at flirting, taking a page off of sky high's book).
And once Kotetsu is completely swept off his feet, he finally agrees to go out with Bunny. He gets encouraged to do so anyway after Bison tells him that a new love doesn't mean he forgot about hia wife etc etc.
I don't mind it. He's obviously into guys only but yuki is an exception in a sort of queer way that transcends gender
