I mean, I suppose in the end they both got what they wanted and he does choose the FL. He couldn't care less if the black haired girl goes off with someone else but the FL he broke to ensure she wouldn't. Fucked up but hey, psychos love too I guess.
Re-read the last few chapters and yeah, he definitely chose FL from the beginning. She's his weakness and perfect half, he admits that. Pretty sure, in the end, seeing her with someone else is what led to him breaking her so completely. He admits he never felt possessive or jealous before her and I'm pretty sure that's what pushed him over the edge. He makes it obvious that everything, including fucking around with the other girl, was all just part of his plan to ensure he got to keep FL to himself.
I got a bad feeling a few (really good) chapters in. I suddenly thought, "Oh please don't end up with that blue haired piece of shit."
So, I looked at the last chapter and lo and fucking behold. We end up doing all that shit that she apparently does just to end up with her abuser because he's a changed boy. Fuck me, man, I can't even read it now.
Honestly, awareness that shit like this actually happens is important. We can't keep failing victims, male or female. However, presented as a hentai was probably not the best path.
Really? I personally think the hentai is necessary. Not for fap material ofc but already traumatizing as it is, the hentai part of it shows more detail of how the characters feel and what its like going through it. Since this hentai is based on true stories, there’s nothing to hide if you’re going to tell the cruel reality and truth of it anyways.
I will explain. For me there is a difference between hentai (porn) and NSFW material that is needed for story telling. The fact that we are presented with a young girl being raped by her father and growing to enjoy it is horrifying and is nothing but fap material.
There are plenty of manga that address what's happening without turning the victim into a pornstar and that's exactly what this manga did.
I enjoyed reading, though the nonconsensual shit kinda made me wonder if I was in for another If You Hate Me That Much. Luckily, this one got better. Plus, with Alpha/Beta/Omega stories I always try to remember that both Alphas and Omegas are subject to the pheromones and instinct bullshit. Still though, I'm glad it got better.
I'll admit though, the side stories of B/O and A/B were my favorite parts.
So far I'm hating the prince. Max and Red give me life though.
