I saw some comments and it seems unsure if the two MCs are in a romantic relationship or if its just like intimate friendship. So is there anyone who have read the raws (or just well informed) and knows for sure which one of them it is? (also i see its categorized as Shounen Ai but i'm not sure if its the author who sets the genres or if the admin of this website who just choose xD) btw i haven't started reading this yet but if at some point they made it obvious it was a love relationship(like a confession), i would like to know at which chapter.
... Is this close enough?

Unfortunately I don't think you will get a romantic confession due to heavy censorship laws in China. The author had originally drawn the kiss scenes into the series, but then was forced to censor them. https://ac.qq.com/ComicView/index/id/523194/cid/142
If she hadn't done that, her series would have been discontinued/taken offline.
Now when she does kiss scenes, she doesn't draw them facing the camera: https://mtlasana.tumblr.com/LingQi - check Chapter 333.
No, the author said that the fans can "ship them however they want". Keep in mind she can't say that they are in a relationship "as" the author, because of those censorship laws
To answer your question, I just went back through to check the other kiss scenes, and it's always been for spiritual energy/transfer.

Check the above link on my blog and look at the following chapters:
217 - Duanmu nearly passes out and Jinghua kisses him to transfer energy
248 - Making a new pact connection
279 - After Jinghua's grave get's disturbed, Duanmu kisses him
305 - Duanmu drowning under water
333 - Jinghua stealing a kiss to get enough spiritual energy (lol @Duanmu's reaction)
1. What does it do to be mates?
2. Did the twins loved each other in a romantic way or they just wanted to be with eachother?
3. Why was it important to copy eachother?
Okay so this is only what I know/remember from reading a bunch of OMEGAVERSE mangas so don't comes at me guys, I may be wrong...
1) to be mates means that an alpha has bit an omega on the back of the neck when in heat, thereby making them a mated pair. The omega can thereon only mate with the alpha during their heat. If someone other then the alpha tries the omega's body will violently reject the alpha. The omega will/could start convulsing throw up ECT. I'm also pretty sure that during an omega's heat is the only time they can pregnant. So the mated omega can only have a child with their mated alpha (if their not mated they can still have kids with another alpha if the omega is in heat)
Okay so imma explain this in detail soo sorry its long af..
*Seiji = alpha, Aiji = omega, Towa = twins omega lover*
2) I think in the beginning they may not have loved each other in a romantic way as much as they were each others lifelines to be able to exist. Later on tho they definitely loved each other in a romantic way but they are still each others pillers..they also fell for towa too!
3)So before everyone found out their gender Aiji was loved by everyone, which made Seiji feel like an outcast compared to his brother. But when they found out their genders, their roles almost reversed as alphas are revered and omega's are seen as 'disgusting hoes' (FUQ DEM PEEPS WHO SAY THAT BTW THEY ARE ADORBS). Seiji then felt superior compared to his brother (and free from being ostracized) but noticed that some kids were bullying Aiji and that they took his supressor.
Therefore when Aiji fell into a heat Seiji went into A uncontrollable rut and bit him making them a mated pair of brothers. Their family then saw their 'unnatural' closness/relationship and tried to separate them. Seiji, then regretting feeling superior to his brother who was always there for him made Aiji bite him on the neck so they were the 'same' and decided to elope. That's were it all started.
All in all Seiji started copying Aiji so no one can specifically bully Aiji for being an omega and so their parents would let them be because they are 'embarrassments' to their family. (I did skip some little parts but that's basically what u need to know)
I think it's funny how there so much more hate on BJ Alex and Love is An Illusion but here people understand the MC.
Which is sad because i understoof the characters in the stories i mentionned but this time i just couldn't. I mean the lack of trust it's normal due to his backstory but sleeping with the coworker the night both main chacters confessed to eachother....that is something i just couldn't understand and then a big part of the story is based
So yea, from that point i thought the uke was quite annoying and i felt really bad for the seme.
I mean, why getting so depressed when your crush says he likes you back but dont want to goout yet. If someone understands you are welcome to explain but i just see it as a mistake from.the author. It didnt make sense to me
I honestly get this.
But during the earlier and actually most of the chapters of BJ Alex and Love Is An Illusion you have to admit the semes were assholes...though the ukes had their own flaws, you have to admit the semes actions were pretty bad, so I can understand why people don't like them.
On the other hand, in this manga, the seme isn't nearly as bad as the other two you've mentioned, so it's not really that strong of a comparison.
Wait, I re-read your topic, but I think people understand the mc because it was told from his point of view. If the other two stories were written in the same way, people would understand the semes in BJ Alex and Love Is An Illusion, as we do now in both, in contrary to earlier chapters.
uhhh lemme just say: it's because the mc in this story is extremely written. Don't get me wrong, I like BJ alex and I follow it regularly..... but the reasoning for alex's behaviour is given NOWHERE the amount of depth and attention that Raising a Bat has. The way things were executed in this story makes us truly dive into the mc's psychology and understand him from start to finish. BJ alex just doesn't do that.
And that's probably why~ BJ alex is just a fun, mindless sort of read. It's entertaining and all, but not something to compare to Raising a Bat. That's my opinion lol.
True, Raising a Bat did go far deeper into the character's psychology. Because we fully understood both of our mc's, through their psychology.
So yeah, I agree that BJ Alex is more of a lighthearted read.
On the contrary, if you don’t understand Alex’s reasoning it’s because you don’t agree with him because it’s quite simple. Alex asked to be sex friends and MG agreed then Alex noticed DG seemed to like him so he acted mean to not give fake hope to DG.
On the other side, the MC in this story slept with a co-worker the same day he was confessed by his love only because his love didnt want to date yet. Oh and the MC ain’t gay to begin with. Also during the time he was in a relationship with his co-worker he was secure about his relationship and didnt act cold. But then when he is with the vampire it changes...
The actions of the characters in BJ alex made sense, the ones of the MC in this one didn’t
Huh. Well, I guess they were both good webtoons, and they both had their own strengths and weaknesses. Raising a Bat focused on psychology, BJ Alex focused on the drama.
And to be perfectly honest, sometimes, the actions of a character who's in love doesn't always make sense. I saw this in both stories.
That is true but the sleeping with another was very important and it made no sense. It just broke the story and we didn’t get a proper explanation for it
I thought that he had slept with that guy because he wanted to get away from the vampire kid, since he was bringing around unwanted feelings. And this guy had treated him well, so he fooled himself into thinking that he was in love with him, so he slept with him.
I would agree with you if he had slept with the dude before the vampire confessed, thats the thing
Huh. I'm not sure, but I think he was confused or he misunderstood it or something. I haven't read it in a while.
Yea he misunderstood in a way but if your crush confess to you, you wont go lose your virginity with another dude the same day. And the whole story is based on the action because after that he regret it, and then the dude breaks up with him so he is reminded of his past + he thinks he doesnt deserve the vampire because he slept with the dude.
Yeah...but he misunderstood??? He didn't even know he got confessed to, right?
And what's wrong with the story being based on it afterwards? Sorry, I don't get it.
The MC kissed the vampire then ran,the vampire catched up to him and said : i like youbut we can’t date now. Then the MC ran away still and went to his coworker and slept with him. And i think it’s stupid to base the story on a action that didnt make sense because it did hurt the vampire so much and also the MC and we don’t even know why.... it’s as if the MC in a story is in love and married, and as readers we know his thoughts and suddenly he starts cheating and it’s not explained
But if the vampire said "I like you, but we can't date now." MC probably took it as a rejection, and wanted to find solace in another relationship.
The reason the story was based off of that was probably because the author wanted to add more drama, which it did. And obviously, since the MC is supposed be with the vampire, the author split up the MC and the real cheating bastard to create even more drama. All the while exploring into the psychology of the characters. I dunno. It seemed ok to base the story off of that in my opinion, since it was basically kinda the climax of the story.
Well i dont see logic in his actions but you do. Thats it i guess :/
I just thought it made sense. Emotionally wise.
But ok. See you around! (≧∀≦)
Wasn't it like that the vampire rejected him? And I think from the MCs nature he looked at it as a sign to complete back off ,that's why he slept with the blonde dude.
Well but the characters in the other manwhas you mentioned are more away from reality I feel. Like their actions, jealousy and just everything they do regards their love interest is nothing a person would behave in real life. But the Mcs mistakes and distrust felt more real even his sidetrack to the blond, cause it wasn't any love behind it ,but a need to get over the feeling of being rejected
i agree!!!!
i agree!!!! he shouldn't sleep with the blonde guy . i hate that!!!
Well the worst in all that is that it feels the uke could have been happy with the blonde dude and have none of the drama that he had with the seme. The uke felt secure and loved by the blonde but not with the seme so Rip
Yea but why would he try to completely back off from the seme if the seme confessed to him. And then sleeping with another dude the same day(and it was a big deal for him). It just made no sense that he slept with the blonde the exact same day, but it had to go that way because otherwise the seme could have explained himself.
Also the uke was happy with the blonde dude, no drama it was lovey dovey. But when the blonde broke up he wanted to suicide. And when he got with the seme on the contrary he wanted to get away from him. It didn’t make sense really...
It seems like if the blonde dude wasn’t with the girl, the uke and blonde could have been happy couple end game.
The only contradiction to that is the blonde saying to the uke « you never really loved me » but even though it was said... thats not how it felt at all.
