assuming you mean chemotherapy, it depends on each person. Assuming that he's in the last stages, tbh there's not much point. Speaking from experience (not of myself, but of a loved one) in the late stages, chemotherapy isn't really worth it bc it just brings you a lot of pain and suffering with no reward. You just suffer even worse than you would have before until your death. I think they even acknowledged in this story that it will most likely do nothing for him & that it just gives him pain, but the doctor is desperate bc he loves him.

You're right,it wasn't shown whether there was preparation or not,but wenxu is a crazy bastard who was raping zhishu so I assumed he didn't prepare. Also zhishu's body is weaker than a normal person's so rupture and bleeding happen easier(this is my assumption,I might be wrong)

Its kind of unclear to me too but here is how I understand it

Shigure was not officially part of his dad's group because he was doing the dirty work for him (maybe killing?) to maybe hide that it was his dad's group's work
He got banished because he wants to stop doing the dirty work

Shiro was the group's property but Haru said that he wants to be the one responsible of him but actually he wants to help Shiro so Haru introduced him to Shigure
Shigure was killed because since he was doing all the dirty work he knows too much about the group's "weakness(?)" so they "silenced" him

Shigure was member of his dad’s group. He was an illegitimate son, so it seems they made him do the dirty jobs. Around that time he started seeing Haru and distancing himself from his brother (due to the guilt, I think). When the dirty works he did (seems to have something to do with another group) were found out, he was banished as a punishment. They let him off easy, though, saying it was an exception (because the top knew he was following orders), so Shigure quit yakuza and opened the pachinko parlour. He never really severed the ties with yakuza and his dad’s group until he took Shiro in. Shigure didn’t want Shiro to end up being a pawn for the yakuza like him, so he planned to run away with Shiro. The group killed him because he knew too much (they had not done it before because after quitting Shigure remained within their check).
Why they didn’t have anyone to take care of Shiro? Because Shiro is disposable good (for the yakuza). If Shigure is gone, they will just throw him around the number of brothels they have. No one would actually care for him.

Oh ok so shigurés dad didn’t care at all about him. I thought it was weird they killed the son of one of the leader but i guess he was seen as a pawn.

Since you understood the story so well ill ask one more. After Shigure was banished from the Yakuza, was he still with Haru? Like i bet Haru visited sometimes but did they still have a relationship or just once every now and then? Im pretty sure they loved each other but never aknowledged it or was that only Haru?

It’s all my personal interpretation so I’m sorry if I got it wrong. Haru clearly loves Shigure and I believe Shigure feels the same for him. The relationship has never gone past on-and-off sex buddy because both parties never shared their feelings. Some ppl may argue that Shigure didn’t really love Haru because he could easily abandon Haru to run away with Shiro. I disagree. I think Shigure simply regarded himself as someone “dirty” and not deserve to be loved. That’s why he distanced himself from his brother who he truly cares about, and when it came down to decide between no longer seeing Haru and securing a better future for Shiro, he chose the latter above his personal happiness.

Mhm, it just feels like after Shigure left the Yakuza, he didn’t meet much with Haru compared to before but it’s very vague xD And yes i guess Shigure loved Haru but i wish he planned to escape with Haru :/ . Also in Shiro’s story, we see a flashback of Shiro on top of Haru (i think it was settled after Shigure’s death, implying that Haru was destroyed by it). Haru was pretty much naked and it wasn’t explained wether they had sex or not xD

You are right, that was right after Shigure’s death. At Shigure’s funeral Shiro was asked if he was crying and he told Haru that he wanted to have sex. That he can top Haru if that’s what he wants. I guess they did go for it, before Haru broke down completely. Whether or not they actually slept together is not specified so we can only speculate.

After the latest chapter with the cobra,i was really dissapointed with the mcs reaction. Is he so affection starved that he cant see what the cobra does? Literally emotionaly manipulating people,selling them for sex amd thinking he is above evrything. I hope the mc ends up with someone else,or that he learns something through this....
The authors last story was bittersweet in the beggining but ended up really sweet and i hope this happes here as well

The one who knows wether or not it was rape is the one who supposedly got raped. And at the end of the sexual scene, the uke didn’t act like a rape victim at all, he was just depressed that the cobra didn’t like him. And as I said before, the MC himself wants to end up with the cobra and he isn’t being lied to being manipulated, he just loves the cobra despite his bad personnality, even though he couldn’t care less for someone BECAUSE of a caring personnality.

You have a really twisted sense of what it means to be raped. What happened was indeed borderline rape. When someone tells you to stop doing something even though there was consent at first, you better fucking stop. Now, a lot of times people even question whether they were raped or not. In this case, you have to look at the context the MC is moving in. He's dirt poor, sells himself (using those porn vids), probably doesn't think much about himself. In this world (even in real life), a lot of these things happen.

??? We have access to the characters thoughts and we saw the scene. So if they are not physically or mentally saying it’s a rape, why should i say it is? The MC did say « stop » yes but he probably just wanted to take it slower. Right after sex the MC ain’t acting like he is mad, sad or scared from the cobra and he even admits to liking the cobra and that has nothing to do with financial situation.

Wether or not it was rape depends on your interpretation of the word and of what happened. But the thing is despite what happened, the MC still deep in love with the cobra even though he couldn’t fall in love with another man due to him being caring. And this explains my main comment, MC prefers a jerk and so he might as well finish one.
