bruh ik people here will disagree but how can you tell me this is not a romantic confession? they lived their lives for only eachothers happiness and she DGAF abt angel lol… yoire honour they’re lesbians

I feel like their love goes beyond that, it's not all about making out yk. I think that if they at least had the chance they would be partners for life, but not sisters, closer to lovers. But we'll it's just my opinion, and indeed they are mother and daughter, because that's literally the only way for them to exist in the same world

It really depends on the interpretation but I agree. From reading both the novel and manga what Remilia feels towards Emi is not romantic love. She even imagined them born together as sisters, what she feels for Emi is not something you can necessarily describe with simple words since it goes beyond ordinary love, but it's definitely on a more familial direction. She literally looked after Emi and watched her grow up. Love doesn't necessarily have to be romantic to be beautiful. Remilia loves Emi and vice versa. Emi wants to save this child who was unloved and misunderstood by everyone, and Remilia is grateful to this person who basically 'raised' and saved her. She even imagined being taken care of by Emi as her younger sister. So yeah, point is, there's a reason why people keep commenting it's platonic, it's not that they don't like WLW, it's that they're just getting the message the story was trying to portray.

Yepp in the first place everyone's just a side character to her except Emi lol, I think out of all the people however, Angel is second to Emi in her book because he saw the Remilia Emi worked hard to build, he stood by her, understood her and loved her, which in turn made Remilia who loved Emi, love him. It's similar to when you find someone in the same niche fandom as you, you just react with "OH MY GOD YOU LIKE THIS TOO?? ILY WTF"
tbf everyones calling it cheating but he sub mentions how he sleeps w a lot of girls so i guess for him it isnt deep so thats why he doesnt care
