I cant help but ship the Snow King. The Emperor is nice and cool, but I love the Snow King more. And imagine how strong would their child be (half snow ppl and half spirit ppl). Deep down I know she will end with the emperor but I still have a little of hope. (▰˘◡˘▰)
I shipped her before with the Snow King, but now I see how the Emperor has both the necessary dark to stop the slaughter and the necessary light to see that all races should dwell together in peace. Snow King only cares about a limited scope and hasn't done the harsh things to bring about the better things. He's weak. The Emperor, as scary as he can be, has realized that if the world is to survive human violence, he has to be violent. No absolute good guys here, sadly.
I like the way you think. Help me get over SK-snow king (T﹏T ).... What I like about the emperor is his way "evil is necessary to survive". But what could SK do? He was on the losing side. He gave up his life for his ppl. And I get that SK doesnt trust Emperor, I dont trust him either (maybe i dont trust anybody there except FL).
One thing about reading these kinds of stories: it cures me of any desire whatsoever to live in a political/empire type of environment. I would not survive. It would be miserable. I'd rather be poor, powerless, and live quietly.

The FL is so horrible. First she likes the emperor for his looks. Second, she keeps getting blush and letting the soldier grad and kiss her. She could turn her head or scream, but nope.
Finally, she lied about her spiritual abilities and her family and STILL LIES FOR NO REASON AT ALL. She is the worst. Superficial and a liar.
Maybe the autor is the same thats why she made her like that.
