Mmmm. The concept is good but I’m disappointed in the final product :( this story could have been so much cuter. And while I love smut, I also wish the plot had more going on.
I need a BL about a super tragic uke. I dont want it to just be a back story, rather imbedded in the plot. Also, I don’t mind if the seme inflicts some pain, but would love if the redemption arc is actually good. Whether it is debt, past bullying, domestic abuse, orphan, disease, SA, I’m fine with anything. I tried looking through some lists, but they don’t really give me a good feel of what I’m looking for.
Here are some I’ve read.
1. Duke’s private tutor - bullied for being gay. Is a target for many years. Uke has a strong and funny personality despite being an orphan and bullied.
2. Pfeos - a slave that boards on a ship as a sex worker. Uke has very timid personality and is very self deprecating but seem tries to help uke once he understands him better.
3. Yona and Chang-il - uke is orphan and forced into prostitution. Personality is very grumpy and stubborn. Seme is a puppy dog.
4. Ouroboros - trapped and imprisoned by brother in law. Explores trauma and uke responds with hyper sexuality.
5. Good day to go crazy - I forgot the story but remember crying all the time. I think uke is ostracized by his family. Explores trauma of both uke and seme.

my perfect enemy is finally broke (this wasnt really revealed until later in the novel but he suffered a lot of bullying cause his mom was sort of like a "mistress" before she died and so he's outcasted by his own family who dont gaf about him and others who curse him because he's the illegitimate son. It's hard to tell cause he beats people up and always acts like he isn't that hurt emotionally.)
Im gonna say "Rainbow city" cause even though its not revealed later the mc's back story I still feel extremely sad for him. (SA in chap 3, best to skip)
(spoilers if you wanna know his story cause ima spoil it because you aint gon see it under later in the raws and the novel)
Basically he was born with a weak body, a strong mind but doesnt really know how to show his emotions even though he has them and is obsessed with rocks. Because of that, nobody except his mom understood him and he kept getting picked on at the learning center because he "didn't have a dad". Most people just thinks he's stupid just because he can't show emotions (which is completely untrue). Anyways, he built up a "wall" in his heart and after the only people who understood him passed away, he couldn't do anything but mourn and do research knowing he's alone in the world. Until the ML came along ofc, but even then he felt like a burden to everyone because of his weakbody (WHEN HES THE STRONGEST BBY HAMSTER IVE EVER MET), THE CUTEST BB WHO IS AFRAID OF BEING LEFT ALONE AGAIN, WWHO TF IS CUTTING ONIONS RIGHT NOW CAUSE IM CRYING HE DIDNT DESERVE ANY OF THE BULLCRAP THAT HAPPENED TO HIM MY INNOCENT BABY, HES INNOCENT UNDER THE VERY END OF THE NOVEL AND DID NOTHING WRONG YET HE HAD TO SUFFER THROUGH SO MUCH, I LOVE HIM ILL GIVE HIM THE WORLD.

what's the story?
I know people are hating on this story but I liked it. It was a true triangle were person a likes person b who likes person c who likes person a. Haven’t found one of those in a while. I feel like the ending could have been better. I think inoch could have had a come back. He did awful things but I think he should have ended up with someone in the send. Would have liked a side story about him.
